TaAseman is a creative studio specialising in the development and production of children's books. Our multidisciplinary team works with publishers and creators on stories, illustration, art direction, editorial development, layout and print preparation. Cloudakids is our sister publishing brand for publishing and book rights; TaAseman provides commissioned creative services.

We can develop a complete picture book or provide individual services, including story development, editing, illustration, cover design, typesetting, page layout and print-ready production. Your proposal will specify the services and deliverables.

Yes. We can review the material and help with book design, typesetting, cover development, technical specifications and print-ready layout.

We consider the story's tone, reader age, visual technique, cultural context, schedule and budget. The portfolios here are a selection, not our complete network. Tell us about your project and we can suggest further matches.

We offer options at different budget levels, depending on style, complexity, number of illustrations and production scope. Tell us your estimated budget so that we can propose realistic alternatives.

Yes. Our art direction team coordinates the creative brief, agreed review rounds and production milestones, so you do not have to manage every stage yourself.

We prioritise original human-created artwork and carefully screen our illustration collaborators for a no-generative-AI working process at every stage. We confirm the project's production requirements before commissioning.

Authorship and moral rights remain with the creator where applicable. The commissioned economic and publishing rights, file formats, permitted uses, territories, duration and exclusivity are set out in a written agreement.

We welcome professional illustrators and book designers. Please introduce yourself, share a portfolio and submit your details through our creative submissions page. Applications are reviewed by our team.

Select an illustrator's portfolio code, then tell us about your manuscript, audience, approximate number of spreads, budget and preferred deadline. If you have not chosen an artist, our team can recommend one.
